This is the 3A curl, also known as the classic curl. When using this brush, I use it at a size percentage higher than 50% because it is a tight curl, but is more defined and larger than the other curls. The type A curls have a wider pattern size and decrease in size as you get to B and C types, then tighter for type 4  curls.
